Historic Locust Grove is seeking a skilled and motivated college intern to serve as the lead video
editor for Feeding Our Roots, a long-form digital series exploring the intersections of food,
memory, identity, and community. This internship offers the opportunity to gain real production
experience by editing multi-format video content for public release—combining documentary
footage, interviews, youth storytelling, and community voices.
Historic Locust Grove College Internship Information:
Position Title: Video Editing Intern – Feeding Our Roots Web Series
Schedule: 8–12 hours per week for 150 hours (flexible; hybrid possible)
Term: Fall 2025 (September–December, with possible
extension)
Location: Historic Locust Grove, Louisville, KY (some remote work optional)
Reports to: Director of Engagement

Applicants must have a positive attitude, energetic, personable, team player; assist with obtaining health information, patient phone triage, phlebotomy, and open to training for performing diagnostic testing. Ability to multitask, illustrate attention to detail. Complete tasks without supervision (after training). Dependable and punctual.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
X-Ray, Phlebotomy, triaging, answering calls and patient queries, scheduling, verifying insurance, processing prescriptions, initiating referrals, assisting physician and other areas as needed.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: high school diploma
LMR certification, Knowledge of HIPPA, Electronic Medical Records experience, X-Ray experience - one year (required) and Phlebotomy experience - one year (preferred)
